Firefly Painting is based out of Poughkeepsie, NY.  We specialize in primarily interior residential painting, and most of our projects are located within Dutchess County, NY.  We are very focused on customer service, organization, teamwork, clear communication, and cleanliness on the job.

 

We offer full-time positions (40 hours per week) year round, with many opportunities throughout the year to work over-time (1.5x hourly rate).  Starting hourly pay will depend on your experience, knowledge, efficiency, work ethic, and leadership abilities.  You will be paid on the books, and we offer direct deposit.

If you meet the following requirements, please fill out and submit the Initial Employment Submission Form below to start the process, and we will be in contact with you to discuss further.  If you seem like a good fit after the interview, we will plan a time to meet in person, and if that goes well, we will schedule you to work with us one or more days so we can both evaluate the situation.  You will be paid for any evaluation days worked, and if we both feel it may be a good fit, you may be offered a full-time position with the company.

You must meet the following requirements:

• 18 years or older and have a valid Social Security Number or TIN (Tax Identification Number)

• have valid photo identification (State issued Photo ID/Driver's License or Passport)

• have reliable transportation (your own car) to travel to and from the job-site each day

• have at least 2 years professional painting experience

• able/willing to do physical work typically required as a professional painter

• available to work Monday to Friday from 8am - 4:30pm

• able to speak & understand English well enough to follow instructions and discuss job details

• be friendly, respectful, honest, trustworthy, reliable, on-time, with neat/clean professional appearance

• able to learn new skills/methods, follow instructions, and adhere to company policies
